Kaobee.
Kaobee (考蜂 in Chinese) is a practice platform for students at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Lecturers share past exams and course material, and students practise the same questions: in practice sets, as flashcards and in timed practice exams. The whole website is available in English and Chinese, on mobile and desktop. Kaobee is run by Aprende AS and has no affiliation with Tsinghua University.
What we do
It starts with the students. They add the courses they want to practise and like the ones others have added. When three students ask for the same course, the lecturer gets an email with a personal link where past exams and course material can be uploaded, without creating an account.
AI reads the exams, copies the questions word for word and sorts them into the topics the lecturer has confirmed. The lecturer can edit, approve or delete each question, and has three days before anything is published. If a course has fewer than 100 questions, AI writes the rest, and those are labelled as AI-written. The website uses no Google services, because they are blocked in China.

How it started
Kaobee is built in Beijing in September, on the same technical foundation as Eksamensportalen. The lecturer site opens on 24 September.
The student site opens to everyone on 25 September, in English and Chinese: practice sets, flashcards, a mistake book and practice exams.
In October, the first lecturer is automatically told that students are asking for practice questions in the course.
