VINARI.
VINARI is a Nordic wine platform that connects the two closed state catalogues – Vinmonopolet in Norway and Systembolaget in Sweden – into one searchable product. The same wine is often listed in both countries at different prices, but nothing has linked the lists. VINARI does the hard data work: it matches the same wine across catalogues with no shared IDs, shows the registered price from each source with the time it was last checked, and lets collectors build a visual wine cellar that is valued automatically. VINARI does not sell alcohol or rate wine. VINARI is part of Aprende AS.
What we do
We answer two questions a Nordic wine lover keeps asking: What is the registered price in Norway, Sweden and tax free? (the price difference in percent, as a fact with source and time), and What do I own, and what is it worth? (a visual wine cellar that follows its value over time).
At the core is a matching engine that pairs the same wine across two catalogues with no shared keys. It starts from the grape variety read from the product name, uses alcohol content and volume as supporting signals, and is tuned against human-verified answers. The free tier gives search and comparison; Premium (Stripe) unlocks the wine cellar, portfolio value and price alerts.

How it started
VINARI is built as a real, deployed SaaS product: Next.js, PostgreSQL and a nightly data pipeline that fetches the entire Vinmonopolet and Systembolaget catalogues.
Launched on vinari.no with free search and price comparison, plus a Stripe-gated Premium tier (visual wine cellar, portfolio value and alerts) – as the newest brand in the Aprende portfolio.
